DIED - At Guttenburg, Iowa, on the 4th inst., Charley, son of L. and M. Heine, aged 13 years.

Notes: Leonard Heine, his father has a biography published in the 1882 Clayton Co. history book -- it states, apparently in error, "Their oldest son Charles, died in April 1854." This was 2 yrs prior to their arrival in Clayton county. Parents: Leonard & Margaretha (Ciemann) Heine. The bio likely should have read that Charlie was born in April 1854.
