Beckmann, Frank H. 1838-1888

BECKMANN, BECKMAN

Elkader Weekly Register, 31 May 1888.

We learn with regret of the death of another old soldier who went to the front in 1861 in response to his country's call. This time the sickle of death has mowed down Frank Beckman, of Littleport, and when the roll again is called there will be no one to answer to his name. He has gone to that unknown land from whence no man returns.
