Elkader Weekly Register, 17 May 1888.

We take the following from the Highland correspondence of the Fayette County Union:

"I am sorry to announce the death of Mr. Wilson. He came from Canada about five years ago and lived with his sister, Mrs. Kimpston, up until the time of his death. Heart disease was the trouble. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Montgomery, of Volga City. His remains were laid quietly at rest in the Highland cemetery."
