Elkader Register, Thur., 07 Jan. 1886.

DIED.- On Thursday evening last, at the home of her parents in this township, occurred the death of Lina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith; aged 26 years. She had never enjoyed good health, and death kindly relieved her sufferings. May she rest in peace. The funeral occurred on Saturday last, and was largely attended. Her remains were laid away to their final rest in the east side cemetery.
