KENKEL, FALKENHAINER, FALKENHEIMER

Elkader Register, 02 Sept. 1881.

On Tuesday evening, at Guttenberg, occurred the death of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Kenkel, after a short sickness. The bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends, in this, the first great sorrow, that has cast a shadow over their wedded life. However, He who rules the heavens and the earth, doeth all things for the best.

Note: An announcement of the marriage of J.F. Kenkel and Lizzie Falkenheimer was in the 7/22/1880 Elkader Register. Correct surname spelling is Falkenhainer

J.F. = Julius Fred Kenkel (1856-1935)
Lizzie Falkenhainer Kenkel (1862-1942)
They are buried in Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee, WI
