T. S. Collins died at McGregor, on the 27th ult., aged 78 years.

DIED - At the residence of his son, Cornelius Collins, in this city, on Monday afternoon, December 27, 1880, Thomas Sylvester Collins, aged near 78 years.

The deceased had been sick since the month of September. His last hour was, comparatively, without suffering.

He came with his life companion who was born on the same week of the same year and who survives him, from county Clare, Ireland, last year, landing in this city on the 18th of Dec, 1879.

The deceased was one of the noblest of good men who was always wont to join in aiding all that could add to the happiness of his fellows, especially to the pleasures of youth. What higher commendation? He has seen his last Christmas, he has passed to eternity and to rest, he has found his reward.
