Clayton County Journal, 17 July 1872.

Mrs. William Bente, of Cox Creek township, this county, left her home on Sunday in her usual health, to visit some friends and neighbors. On her return home, Monday morning, and but a short distance from her house she fell out of the buggy, breaking her neck and dying instantly. Mrs. Bente was an old resident of the county, being counted among the old settlers. She was well known and will be missed by her friends.

Notes: Her maiden name is from William Bente's obituary. Burial place = Communia cemetery, where she has a gravestone
