Elkader Register, 01 Aug. 1878.

Charley Saddler, of this place, while in McGregor during the hot spell, was sun-struck, and though in a precarious condition was brought home receiving the best of medical attention and care. His case was considered hopeless; but little of any hope entertained of his recovery. As we go to press we hear that Mr. Saddler died at an early hour this morning.
