STRAWBERRY POINT: Funeral services for Frank Stone, 70, of Greeley, were held at the Gill chapel on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 08, with the Rev. Murlin Hansel of Edgewood officiating. Burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery. Mr. Stone died at a Manchester hospital on Sunday evening, following a brief illness.

Frank Stone was born on Oct. 05, 1884, at Osterdock, Iowa, the son of Andrew and Nancy Stone. He never married but worked as a farm hand and found relaxation in hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Fred Kraus of Garber, twelve nieces and five nephews. Two of the nephews are Elzie and Henry Adams of Strawberry Point.
