Clayton County Register, 22 July 1954.

The death of Mrs. Charles J. Adams, 53, occurred Monday, July 19, at the Lubbers nursing home in Manchester, where she and been a patient for the past few weeks.

She was the former Maudie Voshell, daughter of Eneas and Bessie Bissell Voshell, who survives, besides one brother, Arthur Voshell, Volga, and two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Litts, Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Wilbur Wells, Tacoma, Wash. Her husband preceded her in death on October 14, 1953, and a brother, Merle Voshell, also preceded her in death.

Services were held Wednesday, July 21, at 2 p.m. at the Blake and Gill chapel, with burial in Hill Crest cemetery.

Before her illness, Mrs. Adams was employed as operator at the local telephone exchange.
