MONONA: Funeral services for Arthur Baade, 71, were held Monday, July 05, at 1 p.m. from the Schultz funeral home, 1:15 at the Lutheran church. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated at the services. Music was provided by Mrs. George Heins, accompanist, Keith Lunde, Mrs. Marion Olson, Miss Eleanor Schlueter and the Rev. R. C. Schlueter. Burial was in the city cemetery.

Mr. Baade was born Jan. 28, 1883, in Giard township and died Friday, July 02, at the Prairie du Chien General hospital after a short illness. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Baade. He was a lifelong member of this community and was engaged in farming.

On Feb. 20, 1913, he was married to Miss Alta Thiese, who died Aug. 11, 1950.

He is survived by one son, Hallet, several brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers were: Harry Kliefoth, Eugene Baade, Ted Baade, Starr Baade, James Hupfer and Durwood Baade.
