Funeral services for Wm. H. Barske were held at the Witt funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 1954, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Wm. H. Barske, son of Wm. F. and Rosa (Lindenbauer) Barske, was born August 10, 1890 on a farm near Elkader. He died at Memorial hospital, Antigo, Wis., March 24, 1954, after a long illness.

In 1921 he was united in marriage to Nellie Spichalsky of Merrill, Wis. They resided on the Barske farm until 1927 when they moved to a farm near Antigo, Wis., where he lived until the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John, and two sisters in infancy.

He is survived by his wife, Nellie, and four children, William of Milwaukee, Wis., Ramona, Mrs. Arnold Riley, of Madison, Tenn. Lola of Richland Center, Wis., and Robert at home, one sister, Sophie, Mrs. Paul Schneider of Merrill, Wis., seven grandchildren, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers were: Wm. Ehrhardt, Carl Ehrhardt, George Kuehl, Fred Kuehl, Gerald Feeney and Ray Welsh.
