Clayton County Register, 18 Feb. 1954.

Funeral services will be held Friday for Otto F. Doeppke, 62, who died Feb. 15, at his home in Clayton Center. Services will be conducted from the Witt funeral home in Elkader. Burial will be in the Clayton Center cemetery. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen will officiate.

Doeppke, a carpenter, was born in Germany in 1891. In 1919 he was married to Pauline Staub.
