GARNAVILLO: Mrs. Stella Schumacher, 73, died at 1:30 Tuesday at Mercy hospital, Iowa City. She had been hospitalized there a week.

A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Druen of Rockville, Wis., she was married Aug. 30, 1906, to Will Schumacher. He preceded her in death July 21, 1950.

She taught in the elementary grades in the Garnavillo public school for many years.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at St. Joseph's church with burial in Garnavillo cemetery.
