Services for Mrs. Rose Anna Glennon were held at Sacred Heart church in Littleport at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, with the Rev. Joseph L. Kissling officiating.

Mrs. Glennon was the daughter of William and Mary Cormack Shea, and was born at Volga Mar. 25, 1873, and died Aug. 16 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Doris Wiley, at Littleport after an illness of three and one-half months.

She received her education in the Volga school, and taught school in Clayton county for 15 years.

On Feb. 12, 1907, she was married to William Glennon at the Sacred Heart church at Volga.

Her husband preceded her in death in October, 1946. She is survived by one son, Cecil Glennon, Volga, and one daughter, Mrs. J. M. (Doris) Wiley, Littleport, three grandchildren, Mary T. Glennon, Rose Ann Wiley, and John G. Wiley, three sisters, Mrs. Julia Bergan, Strawberry Point, Mrs. Mary Little, Volga, and Mrs. Katherine Crowley, Pittsville, Wis., and one brother, John Shea, Volga.

Pallbearers were Francis Little, Martin Minihan, Tim Hurley, Charles Downey, Ray Miller and Clarence Zapf. Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery, Volga.
