Wednesday, Jan. 14 Knudt Amoth died at the Clayton County farm. He was born in Norway 78 years ago. When a small child he came to this country where he resided in Highland most of his life.
His father, mother, one sister and one brother preceded him in death. He is survived by four half sisters, Mrs. Olive Wilson, Mrs. Tillie Pagan and Mrs. Annie Haden of this place, and Mrs. Julia Asher of Lake of the Woods, Minnesota, and one half brother, John Amoth of Red Wing, Minnesota.
The funeral was held at the Highland Lutheran church Thursday at 2:00 o'clock Rev. Gunsten of Clermont officiating. Burial was in the churchyard cemetery.
