Clayton County Register, 26 July 1956.

Services for Ann Marie Hakert, 18-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hakert, Elkader, were held from St. Joseph's Catholic church here Wednesday morning at 8:45.

Burial was made in St. Joseph's cemetery. The Rev. Cletus Hawes officiated.

The child died suddenly at the family home in Elkader on July 23. She was born at Edgewood on January 20, 1955. In addition to her parents she is survived by two brothers, Bruce and Michael.
