Funeral services for George L. Cassutt, 64, Boardman township farmer, was held Saturday morning from the Witt Chapel at 9 o'clock to St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 9:30. Interment was in St. Joseph's cemetery in Elkader. The Rev. Msgr. D. A. Gorman officiated.

Mr. Cassutt died at his farm home, where he had lived for 62 years, on Wednesday morning, Nov. 05.

A son of Joseph and Johanna Connor Cassutt, he was born on November 07, 1893, and at the time of his death was within two days of his 65th birthday.

He is survived by one brother, Leo Cassutt of Elkader and one sister, Frances Cassutt of San Diego, Calif.

Cassutt served as Boardman township trustee for many years.

Pallbearers were: Leo Keleher, Stepen Donlon, Fred Kuehl, Azel Pratt, Harold Downey and George Frommelt.
