Funeral services for George C. Stahl, 81, will be held this afternoon, Sept. 25, from the Witt chapel in Elkader at 1 o'clock. The Rev. Robert Jacobs of Peace E. and R. church will officiated. Burial will be in the East Side cemetery.

Stahl, retired Boardman township farmer, died Monday, Sept. 22, in Fairview nursing home at Manchester.

A son of Charles and Ernestine Heiden Stahl, he was born in Cox Creek township on January 12, 1877. He was married to Beatrice Curler.

He is survived by his wife.
