Clayton County Register, 08 May 1958.

Fred F. Rinkert, 74, died of a heart attack Monday afternoon in the yard at his home in town. For some time he had been troubled with a heart condition. The body was taken to the Gill funeral home at Strawberry Point. Arrangements are incomplete at this writing.

His wife Eva survives, also a son Ralph, a half-brother, Harry, Volga, and a sister, Carrie Meisner, Elkader.
