Clayton County Register, 08 May 1958.

MCGREGOR: Dr. W. H. Thomas, 78, died here Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 o'clock at the First Congregational Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove cemetery.

Dr. Thomas was born at Traer on August 10, 1879. On November 03, 1903, he was married to Winifred Fiete of Waukon. He had practiced medicine in McGregor since 1903.
