Funeral services for Mrs. Annie L. Ivory, 83, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church in Strawberry Point on Monday morning, February 17, with the Rev. Father John Barnes conducting the mass. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.
Annie Quinn was born at Strawberry Point in July of 1874, the daughter of Robert and Sara Carrol Quinn. In 1898 she was united in marriage to Joe Ivory at the Sacred Heart church in Cox Creek township, and the couple farmed in that vicinity. Her husband passed away in 1942 and Mrs. Ivory had made her home in Austin, Minn., the past few years and died there on February 13.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Gernon. Survivors include the following eight children: Donald Ivory of Tacoma, Wash.; Gerald Ivory of Clinton; Stephen Ivory of Lamont; Marguerite Whitman of Granada, Minn.; Florence Pugh of Strawberry Point; Lawrence Ivory of Clinton; Mildred Murphy of Austin, Minn., and Carroll Ivory of Baltimore, Md.
