Services for Clarence Neverman, 47, who died at the Postville hospital Thursday morning, Dec. 11, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church Saturday, Dec. 13. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter, pastor, officiated, Committal services were conducted in the Lutheran church cemetery at Monona.

Mr. Neverman was injured Friday morning, Dec. 05, when the school bus he was driving skidded off the slippery highway east of Monona near the Mrs. Mary Bonzer home. On his way to summon help, Mr. Neverman fell and fractured his right thigh bone. He was taken to the Postville hospital.

Clarence Neverman, a son of Fred and Minnie Schrader Neverman, was born on a farm southwest of Monona on October 19, 1905. He was baptized by pastor O. Wappler in St. Paul's Lutheran church at Monona on Nov. 26, 1905 and was confirmed Sept. 05, 1920 by Pastor A. Dawgs.

On June 02, 1928 he was married to Frances Miller. The couple made their home on a farm east of Monona until 1946 when they purchased a home in Monona which has been their residence since that time.

Mr. Neverman was a church councilman of St. Paul's Lutheran church for four years: a custodian for two years; a church usher for two years, and a member of St. Paul's Brotherhood.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Eugene Earl; three brothers, Emil, Eldo, and Freddie of Monona; and a sister, Mrs. Stanton Sawvell of Monona. His father preceded him in death May 04, 1945, and his mother Dec. 28, 1948.

Music for the services was given by Mrs. Preston Carr, Eleanor Schlueter, Marvin Kurdelmeyer, and Donald Sabbann, with Mrs. George Heins Jr. as organist.
