Chris J. Meyer, 76, Elkader, died at Finley hospital Dubuque early Tuesday morning, Dec. 09. He had been in failing health for some time and had been a patient at the hospital for several weeks. Services for Mr. Meyer were held at the family residence Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.
