DIED - in Farmersburg Township, Clayton county, Iowa, on the 14th inst., Maria Larissa, wife of John H. Francis, Esq., aged 64 years.

The deceased was one of the early pioneers of North Iowa, and an estimable woman. Her bereaved husband receives condolence from almost a whole county of acquaintances.

Note: She and her husband, John, are buried in the National cemetery.
