Mrs. Henry Aulerich, 70, died at her home in Monona on Wednesday, July 16. Services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Monona Saturday afternoon. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.
Adela Elizabeth Voelker was born in Farmersburg township on May 30, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Voelker. She received her early education in the rural schools near her home and later studied music at the Conservatory at Dubuque. On November, 26, 1918 she was united in marriage to Henry Aulerich. Their entire married life was spent in Monona.
Mrs. Aulerich was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Monona, also of the Ladies Aid and Mission Circle of that church.
She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Arno Lenth of near Garnavillo and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were six nephews, namely: Milton, Howard and Don Volker, Orlando Voelker and Arnold and Everett Lenth.
Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mrs. W. F. Voelker, Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Voelker, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Heinson, all of Humboldt, S. Dak.; Mrs. Bertha Engelhardt and Janice, Lake Norden, S. Dak.; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Voelker and son, West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Don Voelker, Nevada; Howard Voelker, Ames, Ia.
