DIED - On Friday evening, Dec. 11th, of Lung Fever, at McGregor, Iowa, Catherine, wife of Thos. S. Styles, aged 34 years and six months.
The deceased was one of the most amiable of women, and died in the lively hope of a blessed immortality. She leaves a bereaved husband and four little children to mourn their irreparable loss.
Her husband is a member of the 9th Cavalry, lately stationed at Davenport. The telegraph brought home to the side of her, she so much loved, but, alas! neither the attentions of a kind companion, nor the aid of medical knowledge and experience could avert the decease which the court of DEATH had passed the wife and mother closed her eyes on all things earthly, and her pure spirit winged its flight to the world of ecstatic bliss.
