DIED - In Chicago October 29th, of Diptheria, John, son of Dennis and Mary Wall, aged 4 years and 25 days.

The sorrow which afflicts parents when their home treasure is carried away forever, can be only measured by those who have felt the wound. The parents of little Johnny have a host of sympathizers in McGregor.

Note: Enumerated on the 1860 census in Mendon twp. are Dennis (27y) & Mary (24y) Wall, with their children Ann (3) & John (1). Parents born Ireland, the children in Iowa.
