DIED - At McGregor, October 27th, of Diptheria, Emily Pierce, daughter of Joel and Maria Amsden, aged 4 years, 3 months and 15 days.

Little Emily was active and intelligent above her years, very sociable in her side-walk rambles, known to nearly everybody in the town, and was a universal favorite.

The stricken family from which she is taken do not mourn alone for the early death of their cheerful pet; there was a general feeling of sorrow when it was announced.
