Funeral services were held here from the Tuecke chapel for Otto Emil Schultz, who died last Tuesday following a lingering illness at Finley hospital, Dubuque.
The services were conducted by the Rev. J. F. Eshbaugh pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church and burial was made in the city cemetery.
Mr. Schultz was born August 14, 1880 on a farm near Garber. He was married to Malinda Horstman on Sept. 28, 1904.
For the past several years he had been employed by the Pioneer Wood Products company in this city.
He is survived by his wife and eight children: Harold and Robert of Guttenberg, Earl of Garnavillo, Otto Jr. of St. Olaf, Mrs. Herman Hanenberger of Byron, Minn., Mrs. John Staebler of Colesburg, Mrs. Fred Koehn and Mrs. Arthur Handke of Guttenberg; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive as well as a brother Henry Schultz of Garber.
