Clayton County Register, 11 July 1957.

VOLGA: Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, for Arthur Smith, retired Volga City hardware merchant, who died Tuesday evening after a short illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Volga. Burial will be in Hill Crest cemetery.
