Madden, daughter died 1905

Elkader Register, Thur., 24 Aug. 1905. Littleport column.

Thos. Madden Jr.'s infant child died on the 7th after lingering for nine days, being too frail to stand the rigors of this cold hard world. The funeral was held on Friday and the remains laid away in the Littleport cemetery. Our sympathy goes out to the afflicted family.
