Happily Married.
At the residence of the bride's parents in Elkader, on Thursday, May 27th, 1886, by Rev. G. W. Ballou, Mr. Charles E. Floete to Miss Carrie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Grotewohl.
Mr. Floete has identified with the business interests of this place, served the county four years as treasurer, and at the end of his term as treasurer he went to Dakota.
The bride was born and grew to womanhood in Elkader, where she has hosts of warm and devoted friends. She is a lady of refinement and the possessor of those graces which adorn the true woman.
The happy couple left immediately for a brief wedding trip, after which they will go to Mitchell, Dakota, where they will make their home for the present.
