At Elkader, on Wednesday, May 20th, 1885, occurred the marriage of J. P. McDermott to Mrs. Bridget Carter, both of Osborne, Rev. Father Quigley officiating. A reception was held at Osborne, Wednesday evening, and a large number of their friends assisted them in having a splendid time.
