Witt - Krieg marriage - 1878

MARRIED.

In Clayton Center, by the Rev. Mr. Seifert, on Saturday, Dec. 21st, 1878, Mr. W. M. Witt to Miss Amelia Krieg.

Miss Krieg is a daughter of Jacob Krieg of Bear Creek. Mr. Witt is of the wagon manufacturing and blacksmith firm of Schoch & Witt, of Volga City. After the marriage the happy couple went to the home of the bride's parents, where the nuptials were duly celebrated with dancing and supper. This week they have gone to keeping house in the new home lately built by Mr. Witt in Volga City. May their life be one of continued happiness and their pathway continually strewn with flowers is the wish of the Register.
