Dutka - Knuth marriage - 1954

Nov. 20, Norway Lutheran church was the setting for the wedding of Miss Ruth Arlene Knuth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Knuth of St. Olaf and Donald Dutka, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Dutka of Guttenberg. The Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiated. Miss Gwen Dutka, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. The groom was attended by Ronald Knuth, brother of the bride. Ushers were Jon Johnson, cousin of the bride, and Floyd Dutka, brother of the groom.

A reception for about 200 guests was held in the church parlors, at which Mrs. H. P. Largent, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Bernell Whittle, sister of the groom, cut the cake. Mrs. Harold Jurgensen and Mrs. Carroll Berns, cousins of the bride, poured. Miss Arlis Thovson, cousin of the bride took care of the guest book.

The new couple will make their home on a farm near Luana.
