Kurdelmeyer - Christianson marriage - 1954

Miss Betty Christianson, daughter of Mrs. Henry Christianson of Postville, became the bride of Robert C. Kurdelmeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kurdelmeyer, of Farmersburg, Oct. 24, in St. John's Lutheran church at Farmersburg. The Rev. Steege officiated. Nuptial music was provided by Richard Steege, organist, and Mrs. William Kurdelmeyer Jr., soloist. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Elmer Christianson of Pontiac, Ill. Velma Christianson, sister of the bride, and Wm. Kurdelmeyer Jr. of Dowagiac, Mich., brother of the groom, were the attendants.

The bride is a graduate of the Elkader high school, and has been employed by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Elkader and Des Moines the last four years. The groom is also a graduate of the Elkader high school, and as spent the past four years in the Navy.
