Morarie - Belden marriage - 1954

MORARIE, BELDEN, COUSINS, EGGERS

Miss Jean Marie Belden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Belden, became the bride of Glenn T. Morarie, son of Mrs. Levi Cousins, Sunday, Oct. 31, at the St. Paul Lutheran church. The Rev. C. M. Hart, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church at Arlington, officiated. The attendants were the bride's sister, Miss Shirley Belden, and the groom's brother, Jimmie Eggers.

Both the bride and groom are Volga high school graduates. Since returning from overseas service early in 1954, the groom farmed the G. J. Graf farm in Highland township, better known as the John Follon farm. During the fall and winter months, the couple plan to live in Cedar Rapids, where he is employed.
