Mueller - Whittle marriage - 1954

Saturday, Miss Helen M. Whittle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Whittle of Elkader, became the bride of Arthur W. Mueller of Rochester, Minn., son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mueller of St. Charles, Minn. The nuptial Mass was read by Msgr. D. P. Gorman in St. Joseph Catholic church, Elkader. Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Miss Loretta Whittle of Davenport, Iowa. George Mueller of Plainview, Minn., brother of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Louis Mueller, brother of the groom, and Walter Whittle, brother of the bride. Francis Whittle, brother of the bride, served as acolyte.

The bride, a graduate of St. Joseph high school, is presently employed at Gopher Aviation Inc., Rochester, Minn. The groom, a graduate of St. Charles high school, is a member of the Rochester police force. He formerly served two years in the U.S. Army.

The new couple will make their home at Rochester, Minn.
