Funk - Bruehahn marriage - 1954

Miss Loretta Lou Bruehahn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bruehahn of Monona, and Pfc. Ronald L. Funk, son of Mrs. Laura Funk of Luana, were united in marriage at St. Paul Lutheran church in Monona, Sept. 07. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated. Mrs. Merle Miller of Postville, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Merle Miller served as groomsman. The ushers were Fredrick Funk, brother of the groom, and Gerald Bruehahn, brother of the bride. Laurel Lee Thein and Teddy Funk, niece and nephew of the groom were flower girl and ring bearer.

After the reception for 150 guests in the church parlors the new couple left on a wedding trip to Washington state, where they will make their home in Tacoma.
