Miss Lorraine Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robinson, and Mr. Roger James, son of Mrs. Maude James, Hayti, S.Dak., and Dr. A. D. James, Des Moines, exchanged wedding vows Saturday at St. Joseph's church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Daniel A. Gorman officiated. Matron of honor was Mrs. Milford Koehn, and junior bridesmaid was Theresa Robinson, sister of the bride. Keith James, of Hayti, S.Dak., was his brother's best man, and junior groomsman was Michael Moyna. Ushers were Joseph Robinson, brother of the bride, and Milford Koehn.
Immediately after the ceremony a breakfast buffet was served at the Airport Inn for the wedding party, relatives, and out of town guests, Hostess was Mrs. D. E. Krug, aunt of the bride from Ames. At the reception at the American Legion club, Mrs. Leo Halloran, aunt of the bride from Chatfield, Minn., cut the cake, and Mrs. Krug poured.
Mrs. James graduated from Mt. Mercy academy and attended Mt. Mercy junior college in Cedar Rapids and has been employed in the home management department at Iowa State college in Ames. Mr. and Mrs. James are both students at Iowa State college where they will live. Mr. James will be a senior this semester and has majored in physical education. Formerly he spent two years in the army and served in the Korean theater.
