Miss Beverly Seeland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Seeland, became the bride of Vernice Moon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earnie Moon of Monona, June 09. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated in the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. Friends of the bride were her attendants, and Harold Vogt, cousin of the groom, was best man. Keith Moon, cousin of the groom, and Roger Breitsprecher, cousin of the bride, served as ushers. Mrs. John Hagensick and Mrs. Caroline Seeland, grandmothers of the bride, attended the ceremonies.
A reception for 200 guests was held in the church parlors, at which Mrs. Ervin Breitsprecher, aunt of the bride, cut the cake, and Mrs. Glen Larson and Miss Janice Larson, aunt and cousin of the bride, poured. Miss Janice Larson had charge of the guest book, and Sharon Moon, cousin of the groom, had charge of the gifts.
Mrs. Moon is a graduate of the Elkader high school and for the past year has been employed in the local office of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. Mr. Moon is engaged in farming with his father near Monona, where the new home will be made.
