Miss Marilyn Girot daughter of Mrs. Agnes Girot of Monona, became the bride of Ronald Fox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Fox of Postville, May 30, in the Methodist church at Monona. The Rev. Wayne Hilmer officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her uncle, Fred Strien. Mrs. Donald Gee of Cedar Rapids, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Mrs. Marvin Mohs of Postville, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. Martha Mista, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Roger Drahn, cousin of the groom, was best man, and Dale Henning of Cedar Rapids, also a cousin of the groom, was groomsman. Ushers were Donald Gee of Cedar Rapids and Wane Sanders of Luana.
The bride is a graduate of Monona high school. The groom is a graduate of Postville of 1950 and operates a farm near Postville, where the new couple will make their home.
