Moon - Smith marriage - 1954

Nuptial vows were exchanged Sunday by Miss Jacqueline Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill R. Smith of Elkader, and Ronald N. Moon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Moon of Monona, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating. The ceremony occurred at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church. Mrs. Art Moon of Monona was the organist, and vocal solos were by Harry Moon. Miss Jean Reinhardt was maid of honor, and Keith Moon, brother of the groom, was best man.

After a wedding trip, the new couple will be at home in Elkader, where the bride is employed in the county Assessor's office and the groom is affiliated with the Clayton County Farm Service Co.
