GARNAVILLO: Gertrude R. Wille, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Wille of Garnavillo, became the bride of Dale Clausing of Ottumwa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Clausing of Ottumwa, at St. Joseph's church, Jan 09. The Rev. Father Ickel officiated. The bride's sister, Georgina Wille, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Ruth Wille, another sister of the bride, and Mrs. John Kowalski of Cedar Rapids, friend of the bride. David Wille, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer, and Michael McLane another nephew of the bride, served as page. Charles Cebukar of Iowa City, a friend of the groom, was best man, and John Kueknle of Dubuque, friend of the groom, and Sylvester Wille, brother of the bride, served as ushers.
Mrs. Dale Clausing is a graduate of St. Joseph's parochial school of Garnavillo and the Immaculate Conception academy in Dubuque. She is a registered nurse, a graduate of St. Elizabeth's school of nursing in Chicago, Ill. Her husband is a graduate of Ottumwa high school and a senior student of mechanical engineering at the University of Iowa at Iowa City. He served two years in the service of the U.S. Army.
The new couple will make their home at Iowa City.
