Schuchmann - Seedorff marriage - 1956

Miss Maurine Seedorff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Seedorff of Lamont, became the bride of George F. Schuchmann Jr. at Emanuel Lutheran church in Strawberry Point Sunday, Dec. 23. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schuchmann Sr., of Strawberry Point. The Rev. S. J. Meyer officiated. Little Kay Marie Grimm of Manchester, second cousin of the groom, was flower girl, while Stewart Seedorff, second cousin of the bride, was ring bearer. Russell Schuchmann was his brother's best man.

The bride is a graduate of Lamont high school and attended Allen Memorial School of Nursing for one year. At present she is employed as a bookkeeper for McGladery, Hansen, Dunn and company in Cedar Rapids. The groom is a graduate of Strawberry Point high school and at present is a junior pre-medical student at Iowa State college in Ames.

Following a wedding trip the groom will return to his studies at Iowa State college and the bride plans to continue her work in Cedar Rapids.
