Miss Arah Jolene Lenth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lenth, became the bride of Dwayne Carlson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Carlson of Farmersburg, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, Dec. 02. The Rev. R. C. Schlueter officiated. Miss Dorothy Lenth of Postville was maid of honor, and the Misses Darlene Carlson, sister of the groom, Carol Heins and Mary Lou Mar___, friends of the bride, acted as bridesmaids. Gayle Erickson of Postville, cousin of the bride, and Dennis Ihde, friend of the bride, were flower girl and ring bearer. Robert Kiesau, friend of the groom, served as best man, and Lee Allen Lenth, cousin of the bride, and Roger Palas, cousin of the groom, were groomsmen. Ushers were Daniel Gruber, friend of the groom, and Clarence Haberichter, cousin of the bride.
The couple were graduated in 1955 from the Monona-Farmersburg Community schools. The bride attended Luther college at Decorah, and the groom attended Iowa State college at Ames.
Mrs. Carlson has been employed at Wilke's food store, and Mr. Carlson is employed at the Witwer grocer company in Cedar Rapids, where they will make their home at 320 1/2 5th Ave. S.W.
