Miss Yvonne Perry became the bride of Dennis A. Easton in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Wayne L. Carlson at the First Methodist church in Strawberry Point, Dec. 02. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Perry of Merrill, Wis., and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Easton of Strawberry Point. The bride's attendants were her aunt, Mrs. Willard Oaks of Beloit, Wis., and the groom's sister, Mrs. Alfred Bowers of Manchester. Flower girl was little Deborah Bowers, a niece of the groom. The groom's attendants were his brothers, Roger, who served as best man, and DeVere Easton. Ushers were Clarence and Willard Oaks of Beloit, both uncles of the bride, Ronald Easton, brother of the groom, and Walter Tegen, a friend of the couple. David Easton, youngest brother of the groom, served as ring bearer.
A reception was held in the church parlors for 400 guests, at which Mrs. Ray Benson, aunt of the bride, cut the cake, and Miss Emmabelle Easton was in charge of the guest book.
The bride is a graduate of the Independence high school and the Paris Beauty academy at Cedar Rapids and now operates the Franklin hotel beauty shop in Strawberry Point. The groom is a graduate of the Strawberry Point high school and is employed at Jessen's market in Strawberry Point.
The new couple will be at home in Strawberry Point.
