O'Neill - Hyde marriage - 1956

Miss Janis Hyde, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Hyde of Garnavillo, became the bride of Raphael O'Neill, son of Augustine O'Neill and the late Mrs. O'Neill of Waukon, Saturday, at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Garnavillo. The Rev. Louis Iekel officiated. Miss Helen Lodge of Cedar Rapids, friend of the bride, was maid of honor, and Mrs. Sandra Clefisch of Garnavillo, cousin of the bride, and Mrs. Bill Kincade of Maquoketa, friend of the bride, were bridesmaids. John O'Neill of Cedar Rapids was his brother's best man, and Howard Duffy of Waukon, cousin of the groom, and Richard Hyde, the bride's brother, were groomsmen. Robert Hyde of Guttenberg and Bernard Ackman of Cedar Rapids seated the guests. Ann O'Neill of Cedar Rapids, niece of the groom, was the flower girl and Gregg Ackmann, also of Cedar Rapids, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

After a wedding trip to South Carolina the couple will be at home at Lincolnway Court in Cedar Rapids. Mr. O'Neill is employed at Square D Manufacturing Co. in Cedar Rapids.
