Miss Marlene Hoth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hoth of Farmersburg, became the bride of Allan Dale Marmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Marmann of Elkader, Oct. 09, 1956, at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church in Elkader. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Miss Ila Mae Hoth, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Donna Staade, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. Vurnell Marmann, brother of the groom, was best man, and Donald Marmann, also a brother of the groom, was groomsman. Eugene Hoth, brother of the bride, and Everett Marmann brother of the groom, were ushers.

A reception was held in the church parlors, at which Mrs. Elmer Kliefoth and Mrs. Tena Glawe, aunts of the bride, cut the cake, while Mrs. Everett Marmann, sister-in-law of the groom, and Mrs. Vernon Hoth, sister of the groom, poured. Mrs. John Palas, sister of the groom, was in charge of the guest book, and Mrs. Eugene Hoth and Mrs. Burnell Wilker were at the gift table. Table waitresses were Miss Shirley Coobs, Miss Charlene Bahls, and Miss Janice Lamker, cousins and friend of the bride.

The new couple will be at home on the farm of the groom's parents.
